We design and install custom solar systems that help homeowners lower energy costs, boost property value, and gain energy independence.

Residential solar systems offer homeowners a clean, renewable way to generate their own electricity and significantly reduce utility bills. By converting sunlight into usable energy, solar panels not only lower monthly expenses but also increase property value and provide long-term energy security. With federal tax incentives and net metering opportunities, going solar is more affordable than ever, and a smart investment for your future.
There are a lot of reasons to own and install solar panels at your home, such as: producing your own clean energy, reducing or eliminating your electric bill, contributing to a sustainable future, protecting yourself from market volatility, achieving energy independence, and saving money!
The unfortunate truth is that utility costs are on the rise. Factors that contribute to the cost of electricity; fuel prices, power plant operation costs, transmission and distribution systems, weather conditions, and local / federal regulations. The result is a volatile energy market. Solar gives the homeowner control over the cost of electricity, eliminating the unpredictability of paying a monthly energy bill. Attached below are a few links to articles outlining the rising demand and cost of energy.
Communication is our bread and butter. We take pride in answering homeowner questions quickly and honestly. Transparency is the key to providing our clients with the most accurate proposals and a solar system that will work to their specific needs. We want homeowners to save money, have a reliable source of energy, and spread the joy solar has brought to their homes.
We work diligently with homeowners throughout the design process offering them options to customize their system to fit their budget. Every system is unique to the homeowners wants and needs, it cannot be handled as a ‘cookie-cutter’ process.
Solar for your home is a rewarding and sustainable investment. We’re here to guide you through the process and answer all of your questions.
The average cost of solar systems can vary from $2 – $4 per watt, meaning a typical 10kW system will cost $20,000-$40,000. But systems are designed to be unique to each home’s requirements and costs can vary greatly based on those needs. Every homeowner has an abundance of options available to them, so the cost of the system is within their control. By getting in touch with our expert solar consultants, we can size your system appropriately to match your budget and help you understand the true savings of going solar.
How much energy does your home use? Homeowners are directly involved in our design process to see the cost difference between a solar system that offsets 50%, 100%, or even 150% of your current energy usage!
How much shade does your property get? A popular saying in the industry, “Shade free from Nine to Three!”. Whether you want a roof mount or a ground mount array, direct sunlight is important.
Who is going to install your system? You are not just selecting someone to come out and put panels on your roof. It’s the responsibility of the designer / installer to maintain your warranties and keep your system in great condition. You are entering into a multi-year partnership with a business that you can trust will answer your call and questions months and years after your systems has been up and operational.
One of the many benefits of solar is that it will increase the value of your home, at an average rate of 6% (that’s a $17,500.00 increase in value on a $500k home!). But does that mean you have to pay additional property taxes? The short answer is NO, in 2023 Virginia legislation passed a code into law (Virginia Code § 58.1-3661) that tax exempts all residential systems under 25kW in size. Meaning you increase the value of your home and don’t have to pay any extra for it! To qualify, homeowners need to apply for the exemption through their local government entity.
